Founded in 2017, Farmaira aims to be Canada’s premium outdoor cannabis grower. We apply our combined 70 years of experience in agriculture and 12 years experience in outdoor cannabis cultivation to produce the highest quality sun grown cannabis available in Canada. Located on terroir soil in Southern Ontario, the site sits on what is considered Canada’s most desirable agricultural land. Its unique properties and higher temperatures mimic the plant's natural environment. Our specific site has a history of producing tremendous yields of high value crops and was formerly the home to our ginseng production. Sungrown cannabis is often the cultivation method of choice for the true cannabis connoisseur, with its higher levels of THC, and superior smell and taste. Due to being grown outdoors in its natural environment, outdoor cannabis production results in much larger plants with higher yields. Farmaira is located atop of a large aquifer and we utilize its clean, natural spring water for irrigation. Our growing practices are pesticide-free and environmentally-friendly, which results in the lowest carbon footprint of any form of cultivation.
